The National Quality Standard (NQS) is a key aspect of the National Quality Framework and sets a national benchmark for early childhood education and care services.
The services covered by the National Quality Framework are assessed and rated against the National Regulations and each of the 7 quality areas of the National Quality Standard, then given an overall rating.
The National Quality Standard aims to promote:
- the safety, health and well-being of children
- a focus on achieving outcomes for children through high-quality educational programs
- families’ understanding of what distinguishes a quality service
A recent assessment by the Department of Education demonstrated that under the National Quality Standard for Early Childhood Education Rangeview Pre-School exceeded in all 7 areas in that standard. This is something of which we are truly proud.
Rangeview Pre-School exceeds in all 7 areas under the National Quality Standard for Early Childhood Education.
