Overview

I was lucky to join the team at Rangeview Pre-School in 2016.

My three children attended the pre-school from 2011-2014 and, throughout this time, I was part of the parent committee. I had no hesitation when the opportunity arose to join this fantastic pre-school as part of the staff.

I completed a Diploma in Education (Early Childhood) in 1990 and since then have done various other studies including a Graduate Certificate in Behaviour Disorders and Emotional Disturbances, Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, and some short courses in nutrition and counselling.

I can’t remember a time when I didn’t want to teach kindergarten – I can remember even in primary school saying it was what I wanted to do. So when I finished high school I went straight to university to begin my early childhood studies.

I had a break from work between 2007 and 2016 – I had my first child, Paige in 2007 and my twins Abby and Taylah in 2009. During this time I enjoyed being at home with the girls and all the fun and challenges that come with three children under three. But, as they grew, we got more involved in the community at playgroup, then pre-school and now school.

Rangeview Pre-School stands out in terms of facilities as well as the fantastic staff, committee and families, who all support each other. The community feel around the place makes it a great place to work.
